The Islamabad Police collaborated with Black Oak Digital to rebrand the Safe City Islamabad project, a landmark initiative enhancing safety, monitoring, and communication across Pakistan’s capital.
Our focus was to create a professional, technology-inspired identity that maintains the integrity of a government project while introducing modern visual appeal. The new design represents surveillance, security, and connectivity through a balanced structure and symbolism rooted in national confidence.
The refreshed logo and branding system provide consistency across digital and print applications, aligning the Safe City project with a forward-thinking vision for smart security in Pakistan.
The Safe City Islamabad logo design follows a structured and symmetrical hierarchy that conveys balance, protection, and authority. The central shield acts as the foundation, emphasizing security and resilience, while layered icons such as the Faisal Mosque, Islamabad Monument, and Bara Dari represent the city’s cultural and civic identity. Each element is arranged to guide the viewer’s focus naturally from top to bottom, symbolizing the multi-layered security network that keeps the capital safe through technology, surveillance, and coordination.
The logo brings together key architectural and symbolic elements of Islamabad into one cohesive design. The shield embodies protection and trust, while the Faisal Mosque and Islamabad Monument stand for faith, unity, and national pride. The inclusion of Bara Dari from F-9 Park and the Margalla Hills reflects the city’s heritage and natural beauty. Surveillance cameras represent technology, vigilance, and modern security. The color palette, featuring Police Blue (#1E56A0) and Authority Black (#000000), communicates professionalism, reliability, and strength. Clean and bold typography completes the design, ensuring clarity, recognition, and institutional confidence across all applications.
